How to Apply for a Rental Property

Interested in becoming a Water Pointe tenant? We’re excited to help you find your next home.

Application Process:

STEP: 1

Browse our Available Properties and select the one that fits your needs.

STEP: 2

Click “Apply Now” on the listing page.

STEP: 3

Complete the online rental application and upload your:

  • Photo ID (for all applicants 18+)
  • Proof of income (pay stubs or employer letter)
  • Any supporting documents

STEP: 4

Submit the application
fee (non-refundable)
securely online.

STEP: 5

Our team will process your application and contact you within 1–2 business days.

Requesting Maintenance

Need something repaired? We’re here to help.

For routine maintenance:

  • Log into the Tenant Portal and fill out the maintenance request form.
  • Describe the issue clearly and include photos if possible.

For emergency repairs

e.g., flooding, HVAC failure in extreme weather):

  • Call 910-279-9114

    Immediately and leave a detailed voicemail.We monitor emergency lines after hours.

    Reminder: Emergency requests should not be submitted through the portal.

Tenant Responsibilities

We believe in transparency and mutual respect between landlords and tenants. Here’s what we ask of you:

  • Keep the property clean and well-maintained
  • Promptly report any maintenance issues
  • Respect lease terms and neighbors
  • Pay rent by the due date
  • Follow HOA rules (if applicable)
